Miles of Smiles!
Built Fisher-Price tough, this Wrangler's Tough Talking microphone and real voice-amplifying speaker make for commanding role play fun. The realistically rugged grab bars allow for easy in and out, and the roomy cargo storage in the back can hold all your child's on-the-go gear. Driver-friendly features include a high speed lock-out for beginners and Power Lock Brakes, with a comfortable, roomy interior for two riders. The Jeep Wrangler is a real driving machine, with two speeds forward (2.5 & 5 mph max.), plus reverse, and rugged tread tires that perform on both hard surfaces and grass.

Motoring Skills!
Driving a “real” vehicle, maybe even just like the one you drive, gives kids a feeling of independence, accomplishment and self-confidence—all of which are important to healthy social and emotional development. Learning to go forward and backward, change speeds, steer, stop and go is good for them, too. Physical motion aids in the development of motor skills, balance and body awareness, and built-in role play features fuel endless imagination. (And of course, it’s just plain fun and exciting!)

Safety, Durability, and Quality…
Every Power Wheels vehicle is built Fisher-Price tough, with innovative play and performance features you won’t find in other ride-ons. Only Power Wheels vehicles come with a comprehensive One Year Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty backed by 300 service centers throughout the country. Before they’re produced, Power Wheels vehicles are put to the test on our own in-house Quality Assurance Test Track to ensure quality performance, mile after mile. They're put to the test by kids, too, in the Fisher-Price onsite Play Lab and through the Fisher-Price in-home test program, to make sure they’re age-appropriate, easy to operate, and of course, fun to drive.

What's In The Box?
Tough Talking Jeep Wrangler, Power Wheels rechargable battery 12-volt battery, Power Wheels 12-volt battery charger, and Owner's Manual.

Ridin' Dirty
I ordered this Jeep from the actual Fisher Price site because Amazon did not yet have it and I needed it for my 3 year old's birthday. It is pretty awesome. I'm not sure how it compares to the Rubicon or the Barbie version but it does work on grass! The "rockin' tunes" are funny to listen to (it is essentially an electric guitar solo). The volume adjustment works well and will play somewhat loud. I marked it as 5 star educational because my kid is learning how to drive and mess with the radio AND talk on the microphone at the same time. At 2.5 MPH my kid who weighs 31 lbs wasn't quite heavy enough to get it through longer grass (longer as in hadn't mowed the lawn in 2 weeks). When there was another child in the jeep, it would go fine on the grass. When I took out the safety screw so he could go 5 MPH, he went through the longer grass by himself without spin-outs. He's been riding it every day for about 30 minutes for almost a week now (mostly in the 5 MPH mode) and I haven't had to recharge the battery yet. Setting it up was a breeze. Just needed a longer phillips head screwdriver. I used a drill with an extender for some of the screws and it went quick. As a side note, it looks way cooler without the tribal art. We didn't put the tribal art (stickers) on the hood or the sides and it is shiny/glossy/metallic looking black. :2011-11-12 23:39:34
